🔱 Buy 5 Mukhi Rudraksha Online in India

If you are wearing rudraksha for the first time, the 5 mukhi is where almost everyone starts. It is associated with Lord Shiva in his Kalagni Rudra form, it does not carry the wearing restrictions that some of the rarer mukhis do, and it is traditionally considered suitable for anyone regardless of horoscope. It is also the bead used in most japa malas, which is why it is the one people reach for when they take up mantra chanting. Divine Vedas stocks genuine Java and Nepal panchmukhi beads, loose and set, so you can pick the form that suits how you plan to wear it.

What you can choose from:

Loose beads — Java and Nepal panchmukhi beads sold singly, the option to pick if you want to string your own mala or have it set the way your pandit advises

Silver-capped pendants — Java and Nepal beads already set in silver caps, ready to wear on a thread or chain without any further work

Bracelets — plain 5 mukhi bracelets for daily wear, plus a designer version with golden balls that works well as a gift

Anyone. Unlike some of the rarer mukhis, the panchmukhi is traditionally considered suitable for all, with no restriction by age, gender or horoscope. That is the main reason it is recommended as a first bead and why it is the one used in most japa malas.
A single Java loose bead starts at Rs. 30, and a Nepal loose bead at Rs. 40. Bracelets are Rs. 800 upward, and silver-capped pendants run from Rs. 1,530 for Java to Rs. 2,040 for Nepal. If you are seeing a 5 mukhi bead priced in the thousands elsewhere, it is either a very large collector-grade Nepal bead or the price is inflated.
Java beads are smaller, smoother and much cheaper, which makes them practical for malas, bracelets and everyday wear. Nepal beads are bigger with more pronounced mukhi lines and a heavier feel, and cost several times more. Both are genuine rudraksha, so the choice is about size, appearance and budget rather than authenticity.
Look at the mukhi lines. On a real bead the five lines run unbroken from the top hole to the bottom, following the natural contour of the surface rather than cutting straight across it. Fakes often have lines that stop midway, look carved, or sit on a bead that is unnaturally light and perfectly round. All beads here are sourced from genuine Java and Nepal stock and checked before dispatch.
Traditionally, yes. Most families have the bead energised with the Om Namah Shivaya or Mahamrityunjaya mantra before it is worn for the first time, usually on a Monday. You can have this done by your family pandit, or book an online puja and we will arrange it with proper mantras before the bead reaches you.
Keep it away from soap, shampoo and chemicals, and take it off before applying oil or perfume directly to your skin. Wipe it clean occasionally and oil the bead lightly with mustard or olive oil every few months so it does not dry out and crack. Looked after this way, a good bead lasts for years.
